Sweet: Now You Can Tweet Photos Via SMS

Twitter users can now share photos by simply attaching an image to a text message to Twitter, according to a Twitter blog post

Twitter says that more than 4B SMS messages are sent and received on Twitter each month. The SMS service is available in more than 80 countries.

Currently, the ability to tweet a photo via SMS is only available on AT&T, Verizon Wireless and Cellular South in the U.S.; Vodafone (also available in Italy), O2 and Orange in the U.K. Rogers
Communications in Canada; VIVA in Bahrain; and TIM in Brazil.

This news probably doesn't mean much for your average smartphone owning Twitter user, but for those still stuck in the stone-age of cellphones this is quite exciting.

Twitter has also added several other SMS commands, by sending "Suggest" Twitter will respond with several accounts you might want to follow, "Stats" will send you your profile information, number of followers and accounts you follow and "Tips" will give you a few more suggestions on how to use Twitter via SMS.
