Cupcake Ipsum Makes Readers Want to Eat Your Filler Text

If you are looking for ways to spice up placeholder text -- assuming you're not satisfied with the Samuel L. Jackson placeholder text -- try out Applicake's Cupcake Ipsum.

"We thought there was a niche in the lorem ipsum generators market and we wanted to make one that was really nice and sweet," Applicake co-founder and CEO Ela Madej tells LAUNCH via email. "Unfortunately, we came up with one that makes everyone at Applicake hungry!"

Cupcake Ipsum generates text related to cupcakes, gummi bears, marshmallows and other sweet treats. You can determine how long the text should be, set your text to start with "Cupcake ipsum dolor sit amet" and integrate several instances of "love" into the text.

"It was a very quick project (nothing technologically challenging there) so we thought - why not?" Ela says. "And we're amazed by how much buzz it's getting."

Poland-based Applicake, founded in 2006 by Ela, is a software development company that builds Ruby on Rails web applications.
